A few minutes later, Draven reached the castle. He instructed a housemaid to prepare a bath. She asked, "Young Master, why are you covered in blood?"

Draven replied, "No worries, the blood isn't mine."

As Draven bathed, he thought, That was really painful. But I can feel I'm way stronger than before, and I can even see the magical energy in the air. Draven finished bathing, put on his clothes, and called for the maid. "Prepare some food and bring it to the library," he instructed.

"Yes, Young Master," she replied and left. Draven walked to the library, thinking, Mom and Dad aren't back yet. Upon reaching the library, Draven picked up a book titled Basic Elemental Magic. I'm not really interested in magic, he thought, but what else can I do? Draven began to read. The book explained that elemental magic users draw upon elemental mana in the air. Some individuals could only wield a single element, while others could control multiple. This means people who can use all the elements are extremely rare, he mused.

The maid arrived with his food. As Draven ate, he asked her, "When are my parents coming back?"

"The Lord and Mistress will not be returning today, Young Master," she replied.

"Why is that?" Draven asked.

"I don't know, Young Master," she said.

"You may leave," Draven dismissed her. After she left, Draven thought, I hope nothing bad has happened. But as long as my old man is there, everything will be alright. After finishing his meal, Draven left the library, went to his room, and fell asleep.

The next day, Draven went to the library again. A week passed. It's been a week since they left, he thought. When are they coming back?

At that moment, the maid opened the door. "Young Master," she announced, "the Lord and Madam have returned."

Draven immediately stood up and ran through the castle to see his parents. I'm a grown man, but I'm running like a child, he thought as he ran. But I can't help it. I've never had a family before. Draven reached his parents and jumped into his mother's arms.

His mother caught him and said, "How have you been, son?" She kissed him on the head.

His father said, "I hope you didn't stop training while we were gone."

Draven smiled nervously and replied, "Of course not."
