Chapter 92: The Peace Meeting
As Izashi stood before Xenovia and Irina, he could see the hesitation in their eyes. They were uncertain about their future, about the consequences of the bet they had lost. Izashi, however, was not concerned. He knew that they would follow through with their end of the bargain, and he was eager to see how they would serve him.
"That was a stupid question on my part," Izashi said, a joyful smile spreading across his face. "Of course, you will follow through with the bet."
Just as he finished speaking, a figure appeared from the direction of the Occult Research Club. It was Ravel, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she ran towards Izashi. He had sent her a message earlier, instructing her to come to the human world and start living with him. She had received her own evil pieces and was eager to begin her new life as a devil.
Izashi waved at her, a warm smile on his face. "Ravel, over here."
Ravel quickened her pace, her cheeks puffed up with pride as she approached him. "Izashi, I'm here!"
Izashi chuckled at her enthusiasm and patted her head affectionately. "So, my dear Ravel, how were you in your house? You missed me?"
Ravel glanced up at him, her eyes shining with a mix of happiness and defiance. "No, of course I didn't. I was very happy in my house."
Izashi laughed, his eyes crinkling with amusement. He knew that her prideful nature would never allow her to admit that she had missed him. He pointed at Xenovia and Irina, who were still standing nearby, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief.
"Now, I believe you don't have any servants yet," Izashi said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "See, I have the pawns ready for you."
Ravel's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly recovered, a small smile playing on her lips. "Hello, I am Ravel Phenex. I hope we get along well."
Xenovia and Irina were speechless. They couldn't believe that they were about to become someone's servant, and that someone was such a young woman. They wanted to speak up, to protest, but the consequences of the bet weighed heavily on their minds. They knew that they had no choice but to comply with Izashi's orders.
Izashi urged Ravel on, his voice filled with authority. "Ravel, just make them your pawns. I already had a talk with them. They also want to become devils."
Ravel nodded, her eyes filled with determination. She stretched out her hand, and two pawn pieces appeared on her palm. She placed them against Xenovia and Irina's chests, chanting slowly, "I, Ravel Phenex, let you have a chance to be reborn a new life as a pawn under me. Serve me well for eternity."
As she finished the chant, the pawn pieces glowed brightly, and a surge of power coursed through Xenovia and Irina's bodies. They gasped, their eyes widening as they felt the transformation taking place within them. They were no longer mere humans; they were now devils, bound to serve Ravel for eternity.
Izashi smiled, a sense of satisfaction washing over him. He kissed Ravel's cheeks, his voice filled with pride. "Good girl. Now, go to the mansion. I will return after attending this meeting."
He clapped his hands, and Grayfia appeared before them, her eyes downcast as she bowed lightly. Ravel was surprised to see her, but she didn't ask any questions. Izashi ordered Grayfia, "Lead them to their rooms in the mansion. I will go ahead and attend the meeting now."
Grayfia nodded, her voice soft as she spoke. "Yes, Izashi-sama." She then turned around to talk to Ravel as she speaks out, "Ravel-sama, how would you like to go back to the mansion? By flying or through teleportation?"
Ravel responded with a smile while opening her devil flame phoenix wings, "By flying it is."
Both Xenovia and Irina were pulled towards Ravel by an invisible devil energy.
As Ravel, Xenovia, Irina, departed, Izashi couldn't help but steal a glance at Grayfia's curvaceous figure. He smirked, his eyes lingering on her shapely ass. He reached out, his hand gripping her firmly, giving it a squeeze. Grayfia let out a soft gasp, her body tensing at the unexpected touch. She turned to look at Izashi, her eyes filled with a mix of surprise and desire.
Izashi winked at her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Just a little something to remember me by," he whispered, his voice low and husky.
Grayfia blushed, her body trembling with anticipation.
Ravel, oblivious to the exchange, led the way to the mansion, her heart filled with excitement and anticipation.
As they made their way to the mansion, Izashi turned his attention to the meeting that was about to take place. He knew that the conference was going to be different from what he had expected, especially since he had killed Kokabiel instead of imprisoning him in hell.
He made his way to the meeting room, his heart pounding with anticipation. As he entered, he found the leaders of the supernatural factions deep in discussion, their voices filled with a sense of urgency and importance. They were negotiating the terms of the peace treaty, each faction presenting their concerns and demands.
Izashi took a seat, his eyes scanning the room as he listened to the conversations taking place around him. He knew that he had to be careful, that he had to choose his words wisely if he wanted to make an impact on the negotiations.
Sirzechs was mediating the conversation, ensuring that all parties were heard and their concerns addressed. Rias, sitting beside her brother, couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration for him. She knew that he was a powerful and respected leader, and she was honored to be a part of his peerage.
As the meeting progressed, Izashi found himself growing more and more invested in the discussions. He knew that the outcome of this meeting would have far-reaching consequences, not just for the supernatural factions, but for the world as a whole.
As the discussions drew to a close, Izashi cleared his throat, his voice commanding attention. "I have a question for you, Azazel, the governor of the Fallen Angels."
Azazel turned to Izashi, his eyes filled with surprise. He hadn't expected the young devil to speak up, but he was curious to hear what he had to say. "Speak up, please. I don't mind any questions."
Izashi nodded, his expression serious as he began to speak. "A week ago, we were attacked by a 10-winged Fallen Angel named Kokabiel. He wanted to raise a war between different factions."
Azazel nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Yes, I sent Vali here to get him to behave, but it seems like you interfered and made him unconscious."
Izashi's eyes narrowed, his voice filled with determination. "I did. In fact, I killed Kokabiel. What I am curious about is, what if I ever meet more people from the Fallen Angels who have the same ambition?"
Azazel's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly recovered, his expression calm and collected. "I see. Well, that is a valid concern. However, I can assure you that not all Fallen Angels share Kokabiel's ambitions. We are a diverse group, with our own goals and desires."
Izashi's gaze shifted to Michael, the leader of the angels. "And what about the angels? Do they share the same ambitions as the Fallen Angels?"
Michael's response was swift and decisive. "The angels cannot have these thoughts. If they have the slightest bad intent, they would fall and become Fallen Angels."
Azazel chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "You all staring at me is making me feel a bit funny. Just relax."
Despite his attempt to lighten the atmosphere, the room remained tense. Izashi snorted, his eyes narrowing as he stared at Azazel. "Until and unless all the angels die, there is no way that the Fallen Angels will be on the verge of extinction. It's very far into the future from now."
Sirzechs, who had been silent for so long, finally spoke up. "Azazel, I heard that you have been collecting humans with sacred gears. I admit, I was worried that you were raising an army to wage war against us or the heavens, but no matter how much time passed, you didn't wage a war. Now, you even have the Vanishing Dragon under you. This has greatly interested me, and I thought that it would be a good time to ask you."
Azazel's expression turned bitter as he began to explain. "It's for the sake of Sacred Gear research. If that's the case, should I send a part of the research materials to you as well? Even if I did research, I wouldn't wage a war against you or anything. I don't have any interest in war at this late of an hour."
He thought for a few seconds before continuing, his voice filled with sincerity. "I am perfectly satisfied with the world right now. I have already ordered my subordinates to not stick their nose in human matters. I just want peace and to do my research."
Izashi stared at the others in the room, his mind racing with thoughts and possibilities. He knew that the meeting was going differently than he had expected, but he was determined to make the most of it. He knew that the Leviathan from the old devil faction would soon make an appearance, and he was prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Michael was the first to follow through with Azazel's words, his voice filled with conviction. "Yes, I agree with you, Azazel. I came here to propose peace to the devils and the Fallen Angels. Since the real reasons, God and Maou-sama, have been annihilated, there is not much point in continuing the war. It would simply damage the beautiful world we have."
Azazel started to chuckle, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Even the stubborn Michael has started to speak about peace. Before, you were all about God this, God that."
Michael was silent for a few seconds before he replied, his expression grim. "We all have lost a lot in these years. I just wish to preserve it and make our life better. It's our job to guide humans, all the angels agree that our job now should be to watch over the children of gods rather than continue a war."
Azazel stared at him cheekily, his voice filled with sarcasm. "With your speech, you would have become a Fallen Angel if it was our time. But I guess since you took over the system, it shouldn't apply to you."
Michael sighed, his eyes filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "I have seen too much destruction, too much loss. I do not wish to see any more of it. I believe that we can find a way to coexist, to work together for the betterment of all."
