The water of the bay parted like a biblical scene as Titan rose to his full height. His massive form dwarfed the city's tallest skyscrapers, water cascading off his obsidian armor in waves that flooded the nearby streets. What was once a blank expression transformed into one of primal rage, his eyes igniting with crimson fury. His awakening roar shattered every window within miles, the sound reverberating through the bones of everyone present.

"INSECTS," his voice thundered across the devastated landscape, each syllable powerful enough to shake loose debris from damaged buildings.

Superman hovered at eye level with the monster, his cape whipping in the wind generated by Titan's mere presence. "Kara, Connor, we need to—"

Before he could finish, Titan's hand shot out with devastating speed. His fingers, each the size of a subway car, wrapped around the base of the Metropolis Trade Tower. The skyscraper's steel frame screamed in protest as he ripped it from its foundation, concrete and glass raining down like lethal hail. Office furniture, computers, and unfortunate potted plants tumbled from the windows as he hefted the hundred-story building like a child's toy.

"Watch out!" Superman's warning came too late.

Titan swung the skyscraper in a horizontal arc. Supergirl, attempting to dodge, couldn't match the impossible speed of something so massive. The building caught her mid-flight, shattering around her body in a spectacular explosion of steel and glass. The impact sent her careening through the city like a meteor, smashing through three city blocks of smaller buildings before disappearing in a mushroom cloud of debris and dust.

"NO!" Superboy's muscles bunched as he launched himself from the ground, the concrete crater beneath his feet spreading outward from the force. His jump carried him stories into the air, fist cocked back for a strike that could level a mountain. He connected solidly with Titan's jaw, the impact creating a sonic boom that rippled through the air.

Titan's head barely moved. His massive eyes fixed on Connor, and his lips curled into a cruel smile. "WEAK."

The backhand came faster than something that size should be able to move. The impact was catastrophic – the sound like a thunderclap directly overhead. Connor's body went instantly limp, blood spraying from his mouth as he was launched over the horizon, breaking the sound barrier as he disappeared into the distance.

"Connor!" Superman's eyes blazed red, twin beams of heat vision burning at maximum intensity. The beams carved into Titan's chest, but the giant barely seemed to notice, the attack leaving only slight scorch marks on his armored hide.

Titan responded by bringing his foot down on the Metropolis Sports Arena. The massive stadium exploded under his weight, transforming instantly into a deadly shrapnel storm of concrete, steel, and stadium seating. He kicked the wreckage toward Superman with the casual ease of a child playing with sand.

Superman weaved through the debris field, but the sheer volume made it impossible to avoid everything. A massive steel support beam caught him in the chest, the impact drawing first blood. Before he could recover, Titan's fingers wrapped around his body.

"BREAK," Titan growled, squeezing.

The pressure was immediate and overwhelming. Superman felt his ribs cracking one by one, blood spraying from his mouth as he struggled against the impossible grip. His attempts to break free grew weaker with each passing second.

"Get... away... from him!" Supergirl emerged from the ruins of the buildings she'd crashed through. Her costume was in tatters, blood streaming from a gash above her eye and her lip split open. She flew straight for Titan's wrist, putting every ounce of strength into a desperate strike that finally forced the giant to release his grip on Superman.

Titan's response was ruthlessly efficient. His other hand swept through an entire row of office buildings, pulverizing them into a tsunami of debris that he directed at the Kryptonian cousins. Superman managed to evade the worst of it, but Supergirl, still recovering from her previous impacts, took the full brunt of the attack. Her already battered body bounced off the ground like a ragdoll, carving a trench half a mile long through the city streets.

"DESTROY," Titan declared, each footstep now deliberate and devastating. He began systematically demolishing the city, every movement calculated for maximum destruction. His fists crashed through buildings, his feet crushed entire blocks, and his very presence caused structures to collapse. The city's skyline was being erased with terrifying speed.

Superman flew at him again and again, each attack more desperate than the last. Blood ran freely down his face, his costume hanging in strips from his body, but nothing he did seemed to even register to the behemoth. It was like trying to fight a mountain – an impossibly fast, inconceivably strong mountain that hit back.

Supergirl struggled to her feet in the crater she'd created, her legs shaking with the effort. Blood dripped steadily from her various wounds, and her right arm hung at an awkward angle. "We... we have to stop him..." Her attempt at flight was erratic, barely keeping her off the ground.

Titan's gaze fixed on her vulnerable form. "DIE." His foot rose above her, casting her broken body in shadow. The movement was almost lazy, confident in its finality.

Superman pushed his broken body beyond its limits, desperately racing to reach her. Time seemed to slow as he realized he wouldn't make it in time—

A flash of purple light cut through the air like a tear in reality itself. Blood erupted from Titan's leg as something—someone—slashed across his ankle with impossible speed. In the same moment, a figure wrapped in shadows snatched Supergirl from beneath the descending foot, landing gracefully nearby.

Scathach stood tall amidst the devastation, her crimson eyes gleaming with ancient power as she held the barely conscious Supergirl.

"If you are to be Raiden's Maiden, you must be stronger, Kara."

Titan's roar of pain and rage shook the very foundations of the earth, but for the first time since he awoke, the giant stumbled, black blood gushing from the wound in his leg

Scathach gently set Supergirl down behind a fallen piece of building, her crimson eyes analyzing Titan's massive form. Black blood still flowed from the wound she'd inflicted on his leg, but her experienced gaze noted how little it truly affected him. 'His regeneration is remarkable... almost like facing Cú Chulainn in his prime, but on an entirely different scale.'

"So," Titan's voice rumbled as he studied her. "I smell Devilance's power on you. Impressive." His massive fingers flexed, crushing a nearby car without thought. "After me, he was the strongest in Lord Darkseid's army."

Superman landed beside Scathach, his cape in tatters but his stance ready. "We need to—"

"Stay back," Scathach commanded, her voice carrying the weight of millennia. "Recover your strength. I'll handle this."

'His durability rivals the gods I've faced, but his movements... there's a pattern.'

Titan's massive fist came down like a meteor, pulverizing an entire city block. Scathach weaved through the debris like water through stones, her movements precise and efficient. 'Left side... slightly slower. The wound is affecting him, if only marginally.'

She launched herself up his arm, her crimson spear leaving deep gashes in his armor. Black blood marked her path as she danced across his massive form, each strike targeting joints and vital points. 'Even the weak points in his armor are like striking mythril.'

"FAST," Titan growled, his attacks becoming more frenzied. He swung his arm, demolishing a skyscraper in an attempt to swat her away. "BUT WEAK!"

"Speed isn't everything," Scathach replied, her voice calm as she vaulted over his massive fist. Her spear found the gap between armor plates at his elbow, drawing more black blood. "But neither is strength."

Superman joined the assault, coordinating with Scathach's movements. When Titan would swing at her, Superman would strike from another angle. 'The Kryptonian learns quickly,' Scathach thought, noting how Superman had already adapted to her fighting style. 'But we're still just scratching the surface.'

Their synchronized attack continued for what felt like hours but could have only been minutes. Each strike precise, each dodge calculated, but Titan's enormous form showed little sign of real damage. 'We need something decisive.'

"This ends now," Scathach declared, her form suddenly still. The air around her began to ripple with ancient power as she held her spear in a familiar stance. 'I'll have to risk it all on this strike.'

The spear in her hands transformed into pure crimson light, ancient runes spiraling around its form.

"Soar, Barbed Spear that Pierces with Death!"

"Stab and penetrate!

Thrust and impale!

Gáe Bolg !! "

Reality twisted as the spear launched forward, its trajectory breaking the laws of causality itself. The weapon struck Titan's chest and then – impossibly – curved, weaving through space until it found its target: his heart.

Blood erupted from Titan's chest in a black fountain. The giant staggered, actually taking a step backward for the first time in the battle. Superman landed beside Scathach, both warriors watching intently.

Then came the laughter.

"Truly worthy of the warrior who defeated Devilance," Titan's voice boomed across the ruined city, even as blood poured from his chest. His massive hand wrapped around the spear's shaft, pulling it free with casual ease. "But unfortunately for you..."

He tossed the spear back, which Scathach caught with a graceful spin.

"I have twenty-eight hearts." His grin was terrible to behold. "Can you do that twenty-seven more times?"

Scathach's expression remained neutral, but her thoughts raced 'He figured me out. That attack drained too much of my power after the battle with Devilance. Even one more would be...'

The air suddenly crackled with dark energy as a shadow fell over the battlefield. Above them, the clouds parted as two figures descended from the sky: one trailing green fire, the other wrapped in dark energy.

"Looks like you need a little help! Isn't that Right Scathach?" spoke the first voice belonging to the Second Queen of Gaia, Kara

"This freak oddly reminds me of my Father, I Shall end him too" added the second voice, belonging to the First Queen of Gaia, Raven
