DXD: Queen of Angels

(I'm changing my scheduling posting to every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so the chapter could be longer and not me rushing it just post one chapter.)

In Heaven

After finishing the reactor, next was getting more allies Michael predicts that at the end of the year. which is still 5 months away, we will be as strong as we were before Lucifer fall which is why I think I'll first try to negotiate an alliance with the Shinto faction. That's why I'm calling a meeting with all the great seraphs and the new archangels to discuss how we can create such an alliance.

The archangels are there to hear about cleaning up corruption in the church and the devil's who kept Messing with the nuns.

After two mins anyone teleported into the meeting room "Thank you all for coming" I began "The reason for this meeting is to discuss the current situation about the devils, the church, and a possible alliance with the Shinto faction. We will have a strength comparable to heaven's golden age with the new angels and magical weapons."

"So the devils nor the fallen can beat us in an open battle, our position as the strongest of three factions but there are still some that can give us some problems like the power of destruction that Bael Clan has, we will try to get some scans and a magical sample of it so that the research department can create an artifacts that can protect angels from it.

"The next point is the church. I read about this holy sword project and I cannot allow the church to start such or similar projects without our permission. Michael you will oversee and monitor the church hands-on, you will bring order even if you have to use force. You can bring any additional focus or resources if you need them" I said seriously while looking at Michael

"Now to the next problem devils forcing or tricking nun's in their peerage that is where the archangel will deal with. we have proof on this matter so you all will go to the underworld and bring back those nuns and I'll see if I can undo the devil's evil pieces so they can go back to being humans.

I then turn to face the horseman's and Zarathos while stating firmly "If the devils asks why you doing this show them the proof and if they still get in your way KO them but try not to kill them, that can be a bigger mess understood."

All archangels looked ready and shouted simultaneously "Yes mother!"

I nodded before continuing my last point "Now to the last point today we should try to form an alliance with the Shinto faction because they view Devils with a mix of suspicion due to their history of conflict and immense power, they can help us if the devils especially the old satan faction start to be bloodthirsty." I said to everyone while seeing them all nodded 

Gabriel suddenly spoke up "Mother, I have met with Amaterasu before along with Yasaka from the Yokai faction i can arrange an official meeting with them as the Yokai have a bad opinion of devils. As the devils control a small area in Japan we could use their territory as a base should war break out."

(sorry if this is stupid but how much land does the Shinto faction control i tried looking it up but nothing popped up)

I was thinking about what she said getting the yokai should get us a legal reason why angels are in Japan and the devils can say anything about it "That would be perfect Gabriel, when is the next meeting."

"I can send a messenger to them so we can meet in Kyoto we can probably have it in 3 days, Mother," Gabriel replied

I nodded happily so that I wouldn't have to wait long." if there is nothing else to discuss," as I looked around and saw everyone shaking their heads." ok, that's the end of this meeting archangel get ready to extract the nuns from the underworld. Gabriel, Michael I would like to update you as soon as you have any important information."

Change of pov Amaterasu 

Today is an important day for me and Yasaka, not because something happened to my pantheon, but because we having a meeting with Gabriel from heaven one of the most powerful pantheons, especially with their god/creator being more hands-on after he just showed the world that the supernatural are real.

But what makes me nervous is last time the Big Guy got hands-on. started the great war that dragged the whole world and killed so many immortals, multitudinous beings are thinking a new great war is going to begin and I have to agree with that assumption.

because we have reports that people who have been resurrected as devils lose their sacred gear without exception. So I asked myself what if the devils go to war against heaven for this cause in their mind the sacred gear is their property which is honestly dumb that they rely on them for power cause in war god can just disable them any time he wants which will cut half of the combat power of the devils army.

The most important thing is the sacred gear was made two thousand years ago and yes their powerful but they old using outdated magic. There is one thing people have forgotten about God of the Bible, he is not a fighter(though can beat most to all gods of war in combat) he is a designer, a one of kind inventor, and with all these groundbreaking innovations in technology and magic after all these years, there no telling what he could construct now.

One of those innovations has popped up in the human news and in the supernatural community which makes me think the god of the bible lost his memories or some kind of reincarnation.

because he usually makes things that support or mend people even his angels his soldiers are good at various things other than warfare but this… thing was like his sole purpose was to hunt and butcher anything that sins without compassion. after it was done with the humans and devils it started hunting other supernatural beings such as dragons, vampires, trolls, Frost Revenant, and other monsters from different Pantheons.

The most upsetting thing about it. The "Rider" is from a superhero comic but is seems to be an upgraded version that makes a lot of supernatural beings nervous, especially the devils. One funny idea my brother Susanoo expressed was what if God made the video game character known as the Doom Slayer and made him the pope.

I can't lie after seeing what this doom slayer can do from a YouTube video, I would pay to see the devil's reaction to it.

I turn to Yasaka wanting to hear her opinion on this matter," what do think this can mean for the other factions"

Yasaka replies fast "Some are not going to like this, particularly those warfare-fanatic i can imagine them started their own alliance to restart the great war."

I just began to drink a cup of tea

We didn't have to wait long for Gabriel she appeared like all angels with a flash of light.

 "Hello, Gabriel." I greeted her

"Hello Amaterasu, Yasaka I hope you're having a pleasant day, " Gabriel said cheerfully

"It has been more interesting lately, thanks to your father there isn't much that could cause such unrest in the underworld as what you're father did in heaven," I stated

Gabrial hummed before she replied "The sacred gear system was revised a few weeks ago. Thanks to Mother, angels are being produced and reborn in cracked numbers, heaven near back to what it was before Lucifer's fall.

I spoke up confused just as Yasaka "Wait 'Mother' I thought heaven only had one god, who you all called father"

"Father reincarnated and when he awakened his body and soul took the form of a woman so it is the mother now, she changed a lot of the rules around such as we angels are now allowed to marry and have children the first couples have already formed." said Gabriel with a smile while we just look at her stupefaction 

One thought going through their minds was "God got gender-bend."
