DXD: Queen of Angels

Chapter 17: Chapter 17:Is that a devil magical girl?

I've been in my lab doing scans on myself trying to find a way to put a divine power reactor in me. Until I ran into a problem…I don't have any biology not joking, no organs, no heart I'm literally the physical manifestation of light.

This makes sense in the light-novel gods in DXD can revive themself and faith speeded that up. We gods are just like spirits our bodies are our souls manifest in the physical world. the energy of the universe will feed our souls if the bodies are destroyed or hurt.

The problem now is that I need to put the reactor in my very soul and that complicated things a lot…that future me problem I'm going outside before i start doing deranged thoughts.

'What should I do..I could go to a bar or the movies..hmmm, I hear there is an anime convention in Japan i kinda want to go there for the Dragon Ball panel's thought to myself.

I teleport to Michael to let him know that I won't be here for a few days. "Mother, are you sure it's a good idea to leave Heaven, even if it's only for a short time? Please take one of us Seraphs or one of the new archangels with you as a bodyguard," said Michael.

I just sighed. He should know better than anyone that I'm no longer so weak that I need an escort. "Michael, you should know that I'm strong enough now to defend myself and I'm just going to observe, nothing else."

"Very well but please be careful, I and my brothers and sisters can't lose our mother too,

call us if you need help with anything" Michael replied.

"You worry too much and I don't have anything planned except to observe a few things," I said and with that, I teleported myself to Japan.

I appeared in an alleyway far from human sight I then put on some sunglasses to cover my cross pupils and summoned my own motorcycle I made for today I had the horsemen's teach me how to ride one. Good mother-and-daughter bonding time.

The motorcycle frame is forged from Celestium, a shimmering silver-gold metal that radiates a soft, warm glow. Its surface is engraved with intricate holy runes that pulse faintly when the bike is in motion.

The tires are made of solid holy light, appearing as spinning halos of radiant energy. They hover slightly above the ground, leaving trails of golden light in their wake.

I'm mostly proud of the Exhaust System I made it was to help the environment and kill pollution. Instead of emitting smoke, the exhaust releases a glowing mist that purifies the environment, dispelling curses, and harmful magic.

The headlights resemble twin angelic eyes, projecting beams of holy light that pierce through the darkness and reveal hidden enemies. Handlebars The handlebars are wrapped in glowing angelic feathers, which serve as both a design element and an energy conduit for the rider.

'The near-perfect motorcycle just needs more weapons on it like heat-seeking missiles'I thought.

After having thought about what to upgrade on the bike she hopped on her motorcycle and set off.

With a sense of excitement, she rode as fast as she could go

Celestia visits a traditional Shinto shrine, marveling at the contrast between the local faith and the grand churches of her followers. She finds humor in the idea that humans now pray to countless gods though she notices more people praying to her while unknowingly walking past the creator herself.

She starts mimicking the local custom of clapping twice and bowing at the shrine, giggling as she pretends to offer a prayer to the fox spirit. The shrine's fox spirit, sensing her overwhelming divinity, hesitantly appears, only to be swept into an impromptu conversation about snacks.

Celestia stumbles upon a bustling summer festival, drawn in by the vibrant lights and cheerful crowds. She tries everything from yakisoba to taiyaki, marveling at the ingenuity of human cuisine.

When she tries her hand at a festival game, like catching goldfish, her divine power accidentally creates a mini-fountain of light, leaving the stallkeeper stunned. She wins every prize but insists on giving them away to children, causing a stir.

One child hesitant walked up to her "Are you a saint miss" the child asked

Celestia amused replied" Yup god giving powers," she said while showing her cross pupils to the shock of the children and the parents.

At a convenience store, Celestia becomes fascinated with capsule toy machines, trying to collect an entire set of angel figurines. When a devil disguised as a human crosses her path, she nonchalantly hands him a figurine with a smirk, leaving him speechless.

A group of lower-ranking angels sent to monitor strange divine activity in Japan finds Celestia eating crepes in a park. They freeze in shock upon recognizing her.

Their stiff, formal demeanor gradually melts as Celestia coaxes them into relaxing and enjoying the mortal world.

Celestia befriends a reincarnated dragon working as a chef in a small ramen shop. The two bond over their shared history of immense power and their decision to embrace a simpler, human existence.

"Funny how we once shaped entire eras, and now we're here, worrying about seasoning broth." the dragon said casually

"Power is fleeting. But this miso ramen? Eternal." Celestia said with a serious tone

she then rode to look for something to do. however, her progress was impeded by heavy traffic.

Celestia's attention then shifted toward the sidewalk, where she noticed a crowd of people dressed in various cosplays. She revved up her motorcycle and lane split (is that legal in Japan?) bypassing the countless stationery cars. Gasps and screams filled the air as she masterfully maneuvered through the crowd effortlessly.

Her abrupt arrival startled everyone nearby from the revved engine and the golden flames that erupted from the exhaust.

Upon reaching the main intersection and finding a parking spot near the entrance thanks to her lucky powers she dismounted her motorcycle and stepped closer to the entrance she noticed it was an anime convention she went in hoping to see some Dragon Ball Z stuff.

Despite her ethereal presence, many attendees assume Celestia is cosplaying an obscure character from a fantasy anime. Some stop her for pictures, while others gape in awe at the "special effects" of her glowing attire.

Serafall Leviathan, dressed in her signature magical girl outfit, is giving an enthusiastic panel on the importance of anime in promoting peace between factions. Spotting Celestia in the crowd, she freezes mid-sentence, her eyes sparkling like a child seeing their favorite idol

While Celestia was trying to look for the dragon ball panel a very loud and enthusiastic voice called from behind her.

"OH MY SATAN! Are you cosplaying the Goddess Lumina from Legendary Celestial Chronicles?! You're PERFECT!

Celestia blinks in surprise not even need to use the system to know who this is especially since the "oh my satan" gave away her race SeraFall is one of her favorite characters. she then smiled warmly."I'm afraid I don't know that character, but thank you. This is just... my usual attire." she said

Serafall gasps dramatically, hands clasped to her chest."Your usual attire?! Are you saying you're actually a divine being?! A real goddess?!"

Celestia tilts her head thoughtfully."Yeah basically"

Serafall immediately drags Celestia to a quieter corner of the convention, bombarding her with questions about her "character" and craftsmanship. Despite the chaos, Celestia finds herself enjoying the energy and passion of the bubbly devil. even when she asks weird questions

"So, do you have a magical girl transformation sequence? Is your staff made of aetherium crystal? Can you summon meteors with a wave of your hand?!" she asked her voice brimming with enthusiasm.

Celestia while chuckling simply said "I can do all those things, but I rarely use meteors. They're rather... destructive. I prefer floods."

Serafall then started jumping "Hey you want to join me I'm here alone. My sister didn't want to come with me but you seem like a lot of fun"

Celestia stared at her. Momentarily captivated by her beauty despite her fondness for dressing up as a magical girl "I kind of have somewhere to be...she hesitated

"Pleaaaaase" she pleaded, her voice filled with genuine enthusiasm

With a sign she agreed "Fine, I'll hang out for a little bit"

Serafall insists on entering Celestia into the cosplay contest, declaring her a shoo-in for first place. Celestia hesitates but agrees,

(serafall just thinks she is a goddess from another pantheon, not big g)

On stage, Celestia dazzles the crowd with her genuine divine aura, mistaking the competition's format as a demonstration of one's "character." She performs a radiant light spell, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle of glowing feathers and golden energy.

The crowd erupts into cheers, and Serafall jumps up and down like an overexcited fangirl.

While Serafall was having her picture be taken Celestia slip away to check out the Dragon Ball Z section.

After about ten minutes, Celestia managed to explore an area that aligned more with her interests. She surveyed the surrounding she didn't need to worry about money Michael gave her a debit card. Heaven owns a lot of human businesses like the devil's and she can put the all items in a pocket dimension inventory.

"There you are" a loud and excited voice exclaimed, she then felt someone jump on her back causing Celestia to be stiff trying to stop her reflexes from drawing out Ebony and blowing someone's head off.

"Why did you leave me? I was sooo sad when I couldn't find you" Serafall expressed in a cutesy manner.

"Ooooh, is that dragon ball z? We should go check that out!" she suddenly pointed towards a nearby stand.

Celestia looked back at her, surprised by her interest "You like anime like Dragon Ball Z"

"Who doesn't she countered her excitement shining thought.

'Well she a woman of culture ' she thought

The two of them found themselves immersed in the convention atmosphere, laughing and indulging in impulsive purchases. time seemed to go by swiftly, and before Celestia knew it, they were attending various panel and event, losing themself in fun hours went by.

When they stepped outside into the darling sky, Celestia was taken aback by the realization of how much time had passed' I should get back before Michael sends the horsemen's after me she muttered to herself.

"That was SO MUCH FUUUUUN!"Serafall exclaimed, as clung to Celestia's arm cause of their height it looked funny.

"Yeah I had a good time celestia admitted

"Well..thank you for the time, i had a lot of fun than I had expected Celestia more sincerely

"Hey let's get something to eat i pay," she said while trying to drag me which didn't work.

They had a casual dinner. They bond over their shared love of entertainment, though Serafall's enthusiasm for anime occasionally makes Celestia laugh.

"You know, if you ever want to collaborate on an anime, I have tons of ideas! We could create a series about a goddess who secretly fights evil while running a bakery!"

"That sounds... interesting. Perhaps I'll consider it. When I'm not busy.' Celestia uttered
