Knox was done learning about his skills.

Well that's certainly different, I have a status screen and even abilities".

He noticed that the screen was just like a video game, he was excited at the thought of visual growth.

"Where could I possibly be, I know that im most certainly no longer on earth, but honestly that could be for the better"…

Knox's memories once again flashed by, as he remembered bits and pieces of his rough past and his life on earth, Knox felt a deep sense of pain.

Especially at the deceit and backstabbing he had experienced, at the hands of his own family…

He could see his brother pushing him in front of the bus, he could feel how his heart had been racing at that moment, he could even feel the sense of disbelief he had felt.

But he could only see bits and pieces, he couldn't remember their faces, but he knew that his family had caused his fate…

Knox wanted to know more, as he tried harder to remember what had occurred, it became more and more difficult for him to remember.

Since it was pointless to continue, Knox decided to focus on trying to sense his body, since he could see it, he thought he could atleast feel it.

So as Knox began trying to feel his"body", he soon noticed that he could feel everything in the room.

Almost as if the room was an extension of his own body…

Knox feeling his connection to the cave, thought to himself.

"So I guess I'm some kind of dungeon now?

Knox jokingly thought to himself.

"I must be in one of those typical "japanese" anime type of worlds huh?"

———————————————————

Knox made the joke, attempting desperately to offset the recent shock of losing his humanity.

Knox unfortunately did not know how correct his joke was.

And he couldn't possibly know, how it would come back to bite him in the future…

In the world of titan, Knox would soon come to learn, that there was no semblance of normalcy whatsoever,

There were all sorts of creatures inhabiting it, all which wouldn't hesitate to devour or use Knox.

Knox thought himself, changing the subject.

"Well let's see what my status means by intruders"?

Knox looking around waiting for the screen to change, however soon he realized that nothing was happening.

Knox really he would have to try something else, so he attempted using his thoughts to affect the status screen, And it worked!

Knox thought in his head.

"Status" and magically the system screen started to appear in his vision.

Knox was thinking.

"Wow that sure is convenient".

He looked around the status screen, soon finding that the intruders part, was at the bottom, and soon Knox pressed it.

Knox was shocked as his vision shifted, he found that he was at the exit to the cave, daylight was illuminating the entrance room through the gap like hole.

Which led to the outside world, knox could see that there was a lush forest on the other side.

He could also see that their were three little "dogs" slowly crawling inside his cave…

Knox tried to move, and was happy that he could still move similarly to a human still.

The main issue was that he still couldn't interact with the world,

Knox began to lower himself in front of the creatures.

As Knox looked forward, he found that he was face to face with three human dog hybrids, all with rat-like heads.

All of them were standing straight up on their hindleg, as if they were prairie dogs.

Knox.

"What the hell are those fugly things?"

Knox screamed!!!

Luckily he no longer had a body, otherwise they wouldve tried to rip him to shreds after hearing his weakly scream.

In front of Knox were the 3 mangly rat headed kobalts.

Knox thought to himself in a panic.

"What should I do?".

They all seem to be very hostile…

He could tell simply based off of their red beady eyes that were shining with hunger and hatred.

Knox

"Well someone seems to have missed their morning coffee".

As he attempted to make a small joke, he was trying his best to keep himself calm.

Knox noticed that a new window had popping up into his vision.

This one was a strange shade of red, instead of the normal light blue color that they come in.

———————————————————

NEW MISSION ALERT !!!

Mission: prevent the 3 kobalts from devouring your core.

Reward for completion: custom vassal card

Punishment for failure: you will. Be eaten alive by the 3 mangy kobalts and will face a permanent death….

———————————————————

Knox was now extremely terrified.

In his past life, Knox had never seen creatures so scary, the closest that he had seen were hyenas.

Knox

" What do you mean eaten alive ?".

"And I have a core?"

Knox

"What is a core?, is that some type of battery or something"?

As Knox was trying to figure it out, he felt a different suction force than the one from before, was dragging his consciousness away.

This time Knox found that he was back to where he had started, in the core room.

Knox could now tell, the core room was the deepest point in the cave, about 200 ft away from the main entrance to the cave.

Knox looked around, and at first he saw nothing on walls and also nothing on the cold stone floor.

That was nothing unusual, until he noticed that in the back middle of the core room, something was there glowing…..

Knox," oh my god, what is that"?

Looking over Knox saw a glowing blue crystal the size of a basketball.

It was imbedded in the middle of a large stone bowl, which was protruding out the ground, sitting at the back of the room.

It was his core!!!
