Draco moved quickly through the forest, going from bush to bush, he was trying his hardest to stay hidden from his pursuers.

Behind him chased the elite kobalt team, they where quickly chasing Draco, constantly sending rocks flying in his direction.

Draco knelt beside a tree for a moment to catch his breath, and that was a huge mistake as soon the Kobalt's had caught up to him…..

A rock came quickly flying and it had hit Draco directly in his right arm, the rocks momentum had definitely broken his bone.

Draco grunted loudly.

"Aghh god damn it, these fuckers hit me"!

Draco move quickly and got back up, he held his wounded arm, Draco holding his arm moved quickly towards the dungeon, he was running for his life.

The team of Kobalt hunters grunted aggravated, it seemed that Draco was moving to quickly for them.

It didn't deter them however as they moved fast, following behind Draco, it didn't seem like they were willing to give up.

Draco moved swiftly through the trees, hiding his body by moving from tree to tree, he had one thought in mind

Draco was distressed and thought to himself.

"We are in for far more danger, than I could have ever imagined"…

Draco knew that for a kobalt tribe, eight man hunting teams were very rare, usually indicating that the tribe they came from is quite large.

So as Draco continued moving quickly towards the dungeon, he was dodged the rocks that flew towards him as he moved.

Of course some of them had hit him, but

Draco fought through it as he continued running for his life.

As Draco had reached the dungeon, he turned around and noticed that the kobalt's were backing off, they seemed disinterested in entering his home.

Draco was confused, this was the second time that stronger invaders had retreated, what was causing this?

Draco thought to himself.

"Maybe it's the mana, the cave does give off strong mana, maybe it could be scaring off outside creatures"?

Draco wanted the answer to the question, but knew that he would have to learn it later.

And that for now getting home, was far more important than learning what the reason why they wouldn't approach.

What Draco didn't know was that, they hadn't retreated, they had other plans…..

The kobalt team knew the dangers a dungeon could pose, so the group decided that it would be for better.

If they were to head back to camp now, and regroup with more tribemates, they didn't wish to die a pointless death.

Draco made his way back down into his floor, he was feeling good, as he has completed his goal.

Knox watched as Draco entered back into his domain, he had decided that now be the perfect time to speak to them.

My childern you have done well, but know this is only the first of many.

Draco my son, dispatch the rabbit, you should benefit greatly from it.

Sage walked over in front of the wounded Draco, and knelt down placing the tied up rabbit in front of him.

As Draco looked around, he noticed his family all had proud looks on their faces.

And since Draco wasn't one for pleasantries, he did as he was told, he bent down and grabbed a rock with his good arm.

Draco brought the rock down cracking the rabbits neck, instantly ending its life without any suffering.

Ding gained 50 xp you have leveled up!!!

Ding gained 50 Dp.

Knox was happy as he had two notifications at once, however he decided to focus on Draco.

Knox noticed that Draco was going through a physical transformation, his arm was fixing itself.

Draco was shocked as he felt mana pulsing through his body, through his wounds, making him slightly stronger.

Draco pulled open his status screen, looking to see what had happened, he was shocked to see that he had leveled up.

Draco had leveled up, abd it was for the first time!

Knox watched as his kobalt's celebrated, however deep down he was nervous, he had one big question since Draco had returned…

To be able to fight Draco, and leave him in such a state, you would have to be atleast half as strong as him….

Knox wondered to himself.

"Who had injured Draco to such an extent" ?

Knox wasn't one to overthink, so he decided instead of overthinking, that the best plan would be to add proper protection, to floor two giving him a better chance at survival.

Knox moved his vision towards floor two he saw the snowly landscape, the narrow stone bridge, and the steep ravine with rushing water down below.

He decided he would use some of his mana to create some earth rabbits to populate the floor, hopefully they would hide in the bushes and attack when needed.

So Knox used about 400 of his mana, creating four mana clouds and before long four earth rabbits two male and two female appeared.

Knox hoped that they would reproduce quickly which would fill out the floor, knox hoped that they would be annoying adversaries.

Becoming visible due to the mana storm receding, what stood in front of Knox were four earth rabbits, all laying down in the snowy grass peacefully.

It seemed that the snow wasn't much of a bother to them, and that was exactly what Knox was hoping for, as he needed them ti hide in the snow to be effective.

Knox was excited at all of the possibilities the rabbits would provide, he hoped that they would be the main food source, and at the same time the primary protector of floor two.
