"Hmm...it's morning already," Desire said as he looked at the sky, the sun peeking through the clouds.

Desire was currently standing at the very edge of the Lord's mansion's balcony as he waited for the night to end.

Of course, this was because of the risky move that he pulled during the night.

As he was the one who ordered it, he wanted to be the one who hears if the mission was successful or not.

However...even though it was morning already, none of the single men that he put out, Ryu's Black Hand's members, came back and reported anything about the mission.

"I'm sure it is taking quite a lot of time to finish rounding up all of the merchants. There were a lot of merchants who got favorable contracts, and the men who participated in this mission number only a few. It will take a lot of time for it to end," The other man present on this balcony...Ryu said those words.

He was waiting with Desire for the reports of his subordinates.

"Hmm...how about for the other side, then? Are they finally finished talking with each other?" Desire said as he turned his head a little bit to look at Ryu.

"No, Young Lord. Amelia is still talking with them. I suspect that the reason why it is taking so long is because it was so sudden - the whole thing, I mean." Ryu said.

"I understand that. However, this is making me restless. It's been three days if you count this day, and they are not done yet." Desire said, and what Desire said was the truth.

The talks between Amelia and the Elves were taking too long that even Desire didn't know what was going on now.

Of course, Desire has considered going there where they were talking and ask what was going on, but Desire refrained from doing so.

After all, that might just lead up to the whole thing being messed up or anything of the sort, though that wouldn't really happen but in the off chance that it might happen... Desire didn't want to risk it.

"That's...unfortunately, there's nothing we can do except to wait for them to end."

"However, it seems that for the other issue...my men have already wrapped it up," Ryu said as he looked at the streets.

Of course, as the Lord's Mansion was huge, it was far away from him, but...he could clearly see shadows of men moving around sneakily.

"So it seems," Desire said as he also observed the shadows with his eyes.

Since Ryu could see them, it was only natural that Desire, with his advanced and superb senses, would be able to see them as well.

"Let us go," Desire said as he turned around and started to walk off towards the insides of the mansion.

Ryu, too, turned around and followed the Young Lord without saying anything else.

"Young Master," A man of average size said as he kneeled in front of  Desire.

Of course, this man was the one who was leading the operation, the vice-captain of the Black Hand, Rick Roll.

However, Rick Roll was not done speaking as he continued, "The mission...went smoothly. The contracts are gone, and we made sure that there were no extra copies whatsoever from any of the merchants."

"Mhm. That's good," Desire said as he looked down on Rick Roll.

In this place, Desire, Ryu, and Rick Roll were the only ones here. There were no people present and that was because Desire wanted it to be this way.

The other members of the Black Hand have already gone to rest as Desire instructed them to.

There were two reasons why Desire set up this meeting this way. The other was to let the members rest as he knew that this was still a tough job, and the second was...privacy.

After all, the information going through here must be kept here at all costs.

Even other members of the Lion Clan must know nothing about this.

Desire knew this very well, which is why he set up this meeting this way.

"So? How was it? The merchants, did they form a contract with you?" Desire asked Rick Roll.

As soon as Desire asked the crucial question, Rick Roll began to stand up and began to slip his right hand inside his clothes.

He then pulled out his right hand, and with it came out a small scroll that seems to be in perfect condition.

Of course, this is because Rick Roll has done his best to protect this even when he was moving around.

And when the small scroll could be seen, a reaction came out from Ryu, who was just watching silently, "Hoh? They agreed?"

Rick Roll just nodded his head and walked up to Desire and presented the small scroll to him saying, "The name of the Young Master of the Lion Clan is not to be taken lightly."

"Even if they would reach high profits from the contracts they made, an offer from the Young Master himself would definitely attract them." Rick Roll said.

Desire paid no heed to his words as he just grabbed the small scroll and opened it.

Desire read it with a thin smile on his face. Well, it was because his plan went smoothly without any problems at all.

Due to this, Desire couldn't help but laugh, "Hahahahaha! What kind of fools are they to accept something like this without even confirming my existence!"

"Indeed. They are fools to accept this but it is understandable why they accepted it," Ryu offered his words, but he was not done as he continued, "Rick Roll and the others destroyed the contracts, and then told them that the Young Lord of the Lion Clan will personally owe them one if they just pretend that the contracts never existed in the first place."

"Just as Rick Roll said, the name of the Young Lord must not be taken lightly. The weight of your name is far more heavier than anyone would be able to imagine. And if they don't accept the contract, then the Lord's Personal Soldiers would come and hunt them down. These two factors are what led up to this result."

"But...I doubt that the Young Lord would actually pay them back when it's time, no?"

Ryu said as he turned his eyes to look at Desire. And Desire answered with a playful voice, "Of course."

"Here and now, I order you, Ryu. Right after the Pista when my existence shall be confirmed, hunt down those merchants one by one and kill them all."

"The ripple caused by my existence shall be more than enough to cover up this whole mess."

And when Ryu heard those words, he bent his knee down and clasps his hands together, "As you will!"

"I shall meet up to your expectations!" Ryu passionately said those words, and Rick Roll just followed suit, kneeling down in front of Desire.

"I shall wait for goods news then," Desire murmured with a small smile on his face.
