Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Faith.
Rachel sat alone on a public bench, her eyes fixed on the ground as tears streamed down her face. She was surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Vancouver, but she felt completely disconnected from the world around her.
"Why?" she muttered under her breath, her voice shaking with emotion. "Why is our life so miserable? In my dreams, I was supposed to be the key to finding the Keystone... Now it's all ruined."
As she spoke, the sky above her began to darken, and the first drops of rain started to fall. People around her scrambled to find shelter, but Rachel just sat there, oblivious to the rain soaking through her clothes.
Passersby shot her curious glances, wondering what was wrong with her. Some of them slowed down, hesitant to intervene, but Rachel's despair was palpable, and they eventually hurried away, leaving her to her sorrow.
The rain poured down around her, drumming a relentless beat on the pavement. Rachel's tears mingled with the rain, and she felt like she was drowning in her own grief.
As the storm intensified, Rachel's thoughts turned to her family. Where were they? Were they safe? She felt a pang of guilt for not being able to protect them, for not being able to keep them together.
The rain showed no signs of letting up, and Rachel just sat there, alone and adrift in a sea of uncertainty.

Meanwhile, Malcolm wandered through the crowded market, his eyes scanning the faces of the people around him. He was desperate for help, but every time he approached someone, they ignored him or pushed him away.
His clothes were tattered and dirty, and he knew he looked like a vagabond. People spat on him, thinking he was just a thief or a beggar. Some even laughed at him, thinking he was mad.
Malcolm tried to explain his situation to anyone who would listen, but no one believed him. They thought he was just making up stories to get attention or sympathy.
As the day wore on, Malcolm grew more and more desperate. He was hungry, thirsty, and exhausted. He just wanted someone to listen to him, to believe him.
But as the sun began to set, Malcolm realized that he was truly alone. No one was going to help him. He was going to have to rely on himself if he wanted to survive.
With a heavy heart, Malcolm continued on his way, searching for a place to rest and a way to start anew. But as he walked, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched, that someone was waiting for him just out of sight.
