Chapter 4 - Go Destion!
"A name... A name... Revolver Morgan Special? That's too long, I should change it to... to Des—Destion. Yes! Destion."
Eve held Kaizoku's hands tightly.
"Now, focus and believe that you can summon your weapon, Kaizoku-san."
Kaizoku closed his eyes. His unwavering will, the strength of his belief, made it easy for him to accept the reality of being in another world. This strong conviction allowed him to cast spells effortlessly.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, the revolver Kaizoku had purchased—now named Destion—was being inspected by a group of shady figures.
"What's this, boss? Something new we've never seen before." the 'boss' they referred to was a large man among the group, who were all dressed in dark cloaks that covered their entire bodies.
"Hmm... Maybe the Nun will know what this is," the boss said, reaching out to grab the revolver. But just before his hand could touch it, the revolver shot off to the right, moving quickly.
"Grab it! Don't let it get away!" the group yelled, chasing after the flying gun.
The revolver flew swiftly back towards Shadowmoon, shattering Eve's window before landing right in Kaizoku's hand.
"Kaizoku-san, you did it! You successfully cast the 'Call' spell!" Eve clapped her hands in delight.
Before Eve could finish applauding, the gang of cloaked figures burst into Eve's house, kicking the door open.
The large boss pushed his way to the front. "That item belongs to us!"
The three of them—Kaizoku, Eve, and Sylphy—stood from their chairs, ready for whatever was coming.
Kaizoku stepped forward, his face filled with anger. "Yours!? This is mine! Do you think getting this weapon was cheap and easy!?"
"Grrr..." The boss grabbed Kaizoku in a bear hug and shoved him with force, sending Sylphy and Eve tumbling backward as well.
In the midst of the chaos, Eve hastily cast a portal spell, transporting all four of them elsewhere.
The portal dropped them onto a green mountain, and they all tumbled down its slopes.
"WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HERE!?" Sylphy yelled as she rolled down the hill.
"I'm soooo sorry!!!" Eve cried as she rolled alongside them.
The boss still clung to Kaizoku tightly as they both tumbled downhill.
"Eve! How do I use my weapon!?" Kaizoku shouted while rolling with the boss on his chest.
"Use it like you would in your world, Kaizoku-san!" Eve yelled back, still tumbling.
"Bullets!" Kaizoku frantically searched his back pocket for bullets. But rolling down the mountain made it difficult for him to grab anything.
As they rolled, the boss slammed into a large rock, sending both him and Kaizoku flying into the air.
"This is my chance!" Kaizoku finally found the bullets in his back pocket. He loaded them into his revolver.
"Go Destion!" He aimed and fired the bullet at the boss's head.
The bullet pierced right through, leaving a gaping hole at the back of the boss's skull.
The boss died instantly, releasing his grip on Kaizoku. Though the boss stopped rolling, Kaizoku and the others continued tumbling down the mountainside.
"EEEVE!!!" Sylphy yelled angrily at Eve.
"I-I'm on it!" Eve shouted, hurriedly summoning a large portal beneath the three of them. They rolled through it and finally landed back inside Eve's house.
The portal had been summoned above them, causing them to fall from the ceiling upon arrival.
"Ouch..." Kaizoku muttered, wincing in pain from the hard landing.
"What the heck, Eve!? You summoned the portal above us!?" Sylphy yelled, standing up and grabbing Eve by the collar.
"I-I'm sorry!" Eve whimpered, bowing her head apologetically.
