NOVEL WEB Chapter 1223: Magic Car

Before leaving, and because we wanted to move more swiftly around the city, and maybe even the world eventually, I decided to do a… little experiment! Yes, let's call it that.
I wanted to enchant the cars into Magic Artifacts, like we've done with clothes and tools before, which turned into magic items and weapons!
Although my Pathway has advanced enough that I could summon up to A Rank item now, there's nothing like a huge magic car, right?
And maybe one that could fly too!
"Uh, Elayne, are you sure this is going to work?" Mark wondered. "I know we got money for more cars but that'll take some time to buy, and I don't want my car ruined…"
"Don't worry, it'll be fine… I think!" I said. "We converted a broom into a flying broom after all! Also we had yet to completely explore the potential that the in-game items have into enhancing objects and giving them magical properties yet, right? A car, a motorcycle, even a plane could gain incredible abilities as well."
I was a bit too confident there, but well, I had a Potential Cube of A Rank here to use, or maybe many at the same time, and also had some Enhancement Scrolls, so I was going to use them all on the car, if it works well, then on Elisa's car too.
But first, I'll bless the car and imbue it with Wind Spirits mostly, so it gains the ability to channel winds and might be able to fly.

Spirits flocked around me, flying inside of the car and fusing with it, giving it a divine spiritual enchantment. Emerald winds flew around it, giving it some sort of mysticism to it, a magical feeling beyond our dreams!
I also used Pathway to call upon a bit of the Wind Goddess divinity, so it was enhanced with divine power, a little bit, but still strong.
Since I watched that movie about the wizard boy with glasses that goes to the magic school that I've always dreamed for a flying car… Isn't it a cool concept?
Its weird how in the past they said we would definitely have flying cars by the 2000's! Yet none of such things have happened.
Yet!
Today, we're making history!
"Alright, let's get to it!"
I placed the two cubes over the car, and then, the enhancement scrolls, all three items were A Rank!

The car began trembling as Mark covered his face, nervously looking at what was happening. Suddenly, the car opened its doors and trembled. The engine was making very louds sounds, like it was about to blow up.
"Aaah! It's going to explode! Noo!"
"Come on, come on baby!"
I looked at the car, and then…

The car glowed brightly, gaining a neon green color, with wings on its back made of silver metal, it looked stylish and even cooler than ever before.

Mark gasped, incapable of believing his eyes in this very moment!
Yes, today we made history, we made history ladies and gentlemen!
"Did you hear it, Mark? The voice?" I asked him.
"I-I heard something, yes…" he muttered. "It worked? Did it actually work?!"
"Yes it did!" I laughed.
"No way!" he was unable to believe it. "A-A flying car? For real?!"
"For realsies!" I hugged him. "This is my gift for you, hehe!"
"Elayne… Thank you!" he hugged me back. "Now, let's try using this right away… I hope we don't crash though."
"Drive it as you would drive your car," I said.
We tried it together first, the Stealth ability activated by merely saying its name inside, the car identified us two as its owners.
BRRRMM! BRRRMM!
The Mana Engine started roaring rapidly, winds gathered around the car and then, it lifted off the ground as we wished it.
"W-Wooaah!"

We've literally flew around using magic and our wings before, but using a car was a whole new experience somehow, haha!
"I-it's stable… I think I can control easily with the same patterns as you use the car normally," said Mark. "Plus, with Mana, I can move it up and down, it's easier than I imagined!"
"Okay, let's give it some rounds around the city!" I said.
"Sure!"
BRRRMMM!
We flew around the skies, the speed of this car was phenomenal, we literally gave two rounds around the city in just a minute.
Nobody could see it as it had the Stealth feature, making it camouflage with the sky!
"This is amazing! Hahahaha!"
Mark laughed as he opened the window and looked down into the city.
"We could go literally anywhere like this!" I giggled.
"Yeah, the GPS still works fine, is it magically infused now or something?" Mark noticed something.
"Maybe? Hahah!" I said. "Anyways, let's go back to the house, the girls are waiting! Also, the interior can be expanded, right?"
"Yes, look!" Mark quickly willed it, as several new rows of seats opened behind the one I was sitting on, the car could extend up to several meters.
"Amazing! It works wonderfully! Let's go back!"
We returned like Kings of the Sky, my daughter and her friends, and also my friends were all left speechless.
"The hell, this is damn awesome dude!" Rita laughed.
"Woaaah! We're really flying!" said Lily.
"So cool!" Elena enjoyed it.
As we flew in the sky, everyone loved it.
In just two minutes, we reached the outskirts and landed right in front of the large facility of SWORD, spooking the agents as a car suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
