Behind Closed-eyes

Chapter 6: Shadows At The Door

Chapter 6

The young police officer couldn't imagine why someone would send creepy dolls to girls. "Hello, Mr. Park, this is Officer Cott," he said. "Yes, the case is similar. I'll rush my men to see how we can take care of Miss Maya. See, she also has that bruise mark. Okay, sir, I'll handle the matter before you arrive."

The young officer at the side was excited to know that he was working on something for Mr. Park, the detective. "Little boy, this time both of us have work to handle, no more misbehaving. Go tell Miss Maya that she should try not to leave her home for this month until we sort this case. If she wants to go anywhere, she should make sure she informs us before making any decisions." "Okay, sir," replied the young officer.

Walking back into the house, he informed Miss Maya and gave her boy his and Mr. Cott's private numbers. Then he left with the other officers. Maya was relieved to be a bit safer, but she felt as though this matter wasn't simple. Ring ring... her phone rang. "Hello?" she answered before she could finish her statement. "Maya, I don't care where you are.

Submit your last project to my email before I make you fail my course and you won't be allowed to graduate," shouted Mr. Rogers before swiftly ending the call. Overwhelmed with tiredness and frustration, Maya went to get her camera and PC, did some preparations before going to the studio in the house to perform a dance using the soundtrack that was given for the project.

Settling that matter, Maya, knowing she wouldn't be needed in class for the next week before graduation, after all, she was just another student, not any representative .After taking a shower, Maya got on her bed to try watching a movie to relieve the stress of the day out of her system. She suddenly heard some footsteps ta..ta....ta...ta moving closer and closer to the door. Swiftly stepping into the closet, she took a racket and hid behind the door, ready for any eventuality, be it a robbery.

The door swiftly opened, and Felix, who was on the other side, wondering if he should knock or not, turned the door handle and stepped in, only to be knocked unconscious by a racket?!
