Became a Demon with Pregnancy System

With a snarl, the Inferno Wolf sent forth a great wave of flame intending to compensate for the attacks. Before long, though, it came to realize that it had bitten off more than it could chew. Luke's purity of magic was leagues ahead. Against Luke's wind blades, the Inferno Wolf's flames scarcely stood a chance evaporating on contact and scattering fiery cinders in all directions.

Blood sprayed boiling drops with the arc of the wind blades as they slashed into the Inferno Wolf; although its fiery luminescence cruelly charred closed its wounds to prevent it from bleeding out, the damage had been done.

For the first time, the Inferno Wolf fully understood-how greatly did Luke exceed it in strengths. 

Realizing its own fate, the Inferno Wolf attempted to flee. But as it bolted toward the forest, a gigantic tornado of flames erupted from the ground, wrapping around it.

Demon Spell: Flame Vortex!

Luke exercised command over the fire magic; the vortex roared into life, trapping the Inferno Wolf in flaming walls. The beast put up a fight, summoning its explosive flames to counteract the vortex. Instead of piercing free, its flames merged with the vortex and heightened its temperature.

In spite of its pained howls, the enraged and desperate Inferno Wolf yelled at Luke, meaning, "Spare me or the Flame Demon Wolf King will hunt you down."

Luke chuckled coldly. "You dared to kill my wolves and take away my Flame Vein. Do you really think I would let you live?"

Outside, the Flame Vortex closed like a vise around the Howling Inferno Wolf. Its cries of agony filled the air. Enough was enough for Luke! With one swipe of his claw, he plunged into the beast's chest and silenced it forever.

As Luke pulled his claw back, a fiery red energy orb emerged, radiating an otherworldly glow.

"Interesting," Luke muttered, observing the orb. For all of its arrogance, the Inferno Wolf additionally provided Luke an unexpected treasure—the essence of a three-star commanding beast.

The orb danced in its spot, with the imprint of the soul of the Inferno Wolf—a ghostly image of the beast snarling in it. But the essence was tainted with impurities: resentment and rage illuminated it. A spirit like that couldn't be eaten up directly to boost a person's strength; it needed purification or purpose.

Luke trained his gaze over the dozen surviving one-eyed wolves. The pack gathered close to his feet, their eyes reflecting all the sorrow they felt for their deceased fellow. 

"The general level is insufficient," Luke pondered. "We require an additional commander-level wolf in the clan. One who can stand firm until I can respond."

He gazed at the spirit of the Inferno Wolf, then at the largest of the surviving one-eyed wolves. Ideas began to emerge.

The one-eyed wolves were momentarily transfixed by Luke's contemplative form. Among them stood out the second wolf, a warrior marked with the scars of the earlier fight.

"You will do," Luke said, stepping towards the Second Wolf. "You have the capacity for greatness."

The spirit of the Inferno Wolf pulsed in Luke's hands, and he focused his energy. "Let us see if your will is strong enough to possess this power."

Luke forced the flaming orb into the Second Wolf's chest. It howled as the essence crept into its body while flames licked at its fur and it began transforming. Its body grew larger, and its one eye shone with fresh intensity.

Satisfied with his work, Luke turned back toward the valley. He couldn't afford to leave the Flame Vein unprotected this time. The Inferno Wolf had come as a harsh reminder that his forces were still too weak to guard such an asset.

As he flew back, the familiar voice of the system echoed in his mind.

[Ding! Congratulations to the host. Tanya Reed is pregnant with a new life.]

Luke's heart skipped a beat. At long last, the reward he'd been waiting for.

[Reward: a piece of dark-plane territory, which generates shadow matter and accelerates the cultivation of dark magic].

The disembodied voice spoke again-

[Ding! Congratulations to the host. Twin Lotus reward triggered. You are allowed to combine the above reward with another one for a special upgrade. Would you like to do that now?]

Luke's mind was racing. "Twin Lotus? Was Tanya carrying twins? The thoughts began to swirl through him with a growing glow of excitement."
