American Dragon Jake Long ( I am Jonathan Long )

There was a gloomy atmosphere in the living room of the Long residence because it was the annual Luong family gathering at Cathy's private island at Florida Keyes. Jonathan after listening to all sides said," So Susan, your family including Catherine doesn't believe that you run a successful catering business worth 200 million dollars and I am the owner of the largest tech company in the world which is going to become a mega corporation with a functioning military triad within six months. Am I missing something?"

Susan nodded her head sideways. " So, have they said what it would take to make them believe you?" Asked Jonathan. " If I could come by the TOP SECRET VTOL aircraft rumored on the internet while being escorted by six of your soldiers they would believe me." Said Susan. Jonathan sneered hearing such childish terms and said," I can do those things easily but know this if any of them comes any closer than 5 feet of any airborne or sea based asset the soldiers can and will use lethal force. After all they come from Hong Kong and China making them potential spies from China according to the Pentagon. Make certain that they understand that point because I won't risk your, Jake or Haley's life for them and I'm sorry if that sounds selfish."

" Jonathan, it's not selfish wanting to protect our family at least not to me." Said Susan in order to comfort Jonathan. " Thanks, honey. It means a lot" Replied Jonathan. " I'm going to take the pickup truck along with my father in law. I will send you guys to the I.C.N.S Atlas via a Dragonfly VTOL and it will reach Florida in 30 hours. Susan, Jake, Haley and Fu will leave tomorrow at 7:30 A.M. sharp for I.C.N.S Atlas which is located 60 miles away from New York while being escorted by a 10 person security detail." Said Jonathan.

" Um, daddy? What does I.C.N.S stand for?" Asked Haley. " Infinitum Corporation Naval Ship, sweetie. All of my subsidiaries will operate under the alias Infinitum Corporation." I explained and I left.

" Remind me again daughter why I'm going with Jonathan when he's your husband ?" Asked Lao Shi grumpily. Susan sighed and rubbed her temples and said," Jonathan is not like before. He's not gullible like before but sometimes when I see him I feel as if I'm looking at someone who has seen through everything. I mean do you really expect him not to ask questions about why I don't let him join my family gatherings?Dad, I'm tired of constantly lying to my husband and what's worse is that I can't muster up the courage to tell him the truth. I mean who lets their family use an aircraft carrier as a pleasure cruise?"

" First of all our side of the family is sloppy to the extent that in all honesty it disgusts me. Secondly, when did Jonathan get an aircraft carrier?" Asked Lao Shi. " Jonathan has been heavily investing in many countries of Africa which is rich in not greatly consequential mineral resources or so most people thought.

Turns out DR Congo's Cobalt reserves are incredibly necessary for the production of Electric cars which recharge using the built in Solar panels. Not to mention the term invest in actuality means owning those countries and that means Jonathan is currently the only mega corporation which owns enough land mass to create a country. Not to mention his armed forces have almost taken over all of the UN's peacekeeping missions. Also various high end military equipment ranging from Guns to sixth gen fighter aircraft are independently developed and created by Long Aerospace Technology and weapons division. Let's not forget about the reusable rockets used to supply the ISS are being made by Jonathan's company. Finally, he is one month away from achieving controlled Nuclear fusion which within 5 months can become public. Jonathan has the world in his palm dad and yet he loves this insignificant me who barely scrapes together a few events for a living." Said Susan while shedding tears.

Suddenly she was hugged from behind as she turned and she saw Jonathan. Jonathan kissed her on her cheek and said," Even if I ever become a vegetable I know that you will be there for me and you expect me to leave you just because I'm a little rich. Also I don't mind the secrets but since you aren't telling me your secrets I won't tell you mine. Also I'm taking my father in law for a few company inspections." Susan laughed a little, wiped her tears while sniffling and finally said," Fair enough."

" Now the ingredients you will take for the family reunion do you want to fabricate them or buy them? " I asked. " Just print them using your fabricators." Susan replied.

The next day:

The Dragonfly VTOL aircraft was connected to a glass window of the Long Tower using a short umbilical tube and Susan, Jake, Haley and Fu boarded it. The umbilical retracted and the door shut down. " J.A.R.V.I.S are the F-51 Stingers and F-39 B's in place?" Asked Jonathan. " Yes, sir. 2 F-51 & 2 F-39 B's are currently in active cloaking and escorting the Dragonfly." Replied J.A.R.V.I.S

" Has NORAD and the NAVY been notified of our movements?" Asked Jonathan. " Yes, sir." Replied J.A.R.V.I.S " Any movement from Russia and China?" Asked Jonathan. "Yes sir, Type-039A NATO designation Yuan class submarine is currently lurking in the Atlantic currently 150 miles away from I.C.N.S Atlas while 955A Borei-A NATO designation Dolgorukiy class submarine is currently 140 miles away from I.C.N.S Atlas." Reported J.A.R.V.I.S.

" Tell Atlas to deploy two MANTA's and destroy them." Ordered Jonathan. " Order relayed sir. ETA 1 hour and 45 minutes respectively." Reported J.A.R.V.I.S

I stood by the window contemplating how far I've come in this life. So many achievements that would've taken a civilization thousands of years I have achieved those in a year. I asked in my mind," Why are my two lives so different from one other, system?" A message prompt came," For once you are not surrounded by fake well wishers who actually curse you in their mind and secondly your blood relative didn't betray you." I thought in my mind," Fair enough."

3rd person POV:

Captain Korshev's guts have been churning since the beginning of this mission. His and a Chinese submarine carrying 40 and 30 special forces members of their countries respectively in their specially modified Borei and Yuan class submarines. They are to launch special boarding torpedoes over the I.C.N.S Atlas when it enters international waters. The soldiers will be responsible for taking Jonathan Long's family hostage and stealing data from the servers of the I.C.N.S Atlas.

This ship is a super weapon through and through. With a length of 1 km, Beam length 600 m and Flight deck width of 300 meters. It carries 150 aircraft of various types making it more powerful than many nations entire air force. Their superiors felt puzzled as how Jonathan Long was able to make those stubborn politicians agree to his demands. He told Jonathan in his mind," Shouldn't have gone against the world, comrade." " Curse your bad luck, comrade." Said a voice in perfect Russian in his mind. Before he could say anything everything lit up in fire.

Jonathan Pov:

" Sir, the MANTA's have destroyed the submarines and from the minds of the captains of the submarines we learned that they were going to use the experimental boarding torpedoes to kidnap your family which are being developed jointly by China and Russia in order to destroy US supercarriers from within." Reported J.A.R.V.I.S "Hang the Chinese and Russian admirals in front of the homes of Putin and Xi Xing Ping."

30 hours later:

I.C.N.S Atlas anchored itself 5 kilometres away from Catherine's private island as the supercarrier couldn't go any further due to the water being too shallow. An Ashbird troop carrier VTOL carrying 13 people took off from the flight deck of the I.C.N.S Atlas along with 2 F-35 and 2 Dragonfly.

The moment the Ashbird took off an impossibly loud war horn was sounded from the I.C.N.S Atlas which was directed towards the island and it achieved the intended result which prompted all the family members to come out of the home to investigate the source of such a loud sound. What they saw horrified them.

An aircraft carrier flying the flag of Infinitum Corporation while a large aircraft escorted by two sleeker aircraft by the side and two fighter jets escorting from the above was coming towards the island. The outline of the biggest aircraft became visible and it landed on the beach blowing sand towards their face. The ramp lowered and 10 heavily armoured soldiers came out from the aircraft and they created a path by 5 soldiers standing on each side of the door. Susan, Jake and Haley came out from the Ashbird and the soldiers brought their weapons on chest level vertically.

A Dragonfly airdropped the things Susan brought for them. Catherine was stunned as she struggled to piece together coherent words and she finally said," Susan!!!! We were just joking about not believing about Jonathan being the owner of Infinitum Corporation!!!! Why the heck would he send his enormous aircraft carrier just because we joked that we didn't believe him."

" Jonathan worked hard to reach where he is today and your little joke was a direct challenge to his credibility. So, he simply proved a point by sending the I.C.N.S Atlas also if we didn't come with a military escort would any of you let go of the chance to undermine me and my kids?" Asked Susan in a skeptical voice. Everyone suddenly became very interested in the sky.

" Well, the airdrop contains the gifts I brought for you all. Enjoy them." Said Susan. Cathy asked," Where's Jonathan? Oh. Wait, how hasn't he figured out our secret?" " Knowing him he probably has but he simply acts as if he doesn't know. But he's probably waiting for me to tell him." Said Susan while going in and eight of the soldiers went inside along with them as the remaining two stayed outside the house to create a perimeter as they were snipers.

All of them sat down for dinner while Susan was escorted by four soldiers and Haley and Jake was escorted by 2 each who were from the "Spartan" special operations division. They are the result of the second generation of supersoldier program codenamed 'Primaris V-2' for normal infantry regiments. This experiment has achieved a 100% success rate making the creation of transhuman super soldiers on a massive scale feasible. They are able to meet the physical conditions necessary to don the complete version of MJOLNIR MARK III making them the only second to the Legionnaires in terms of combat effectiveness.

Haley and Jake Pov:

Jake wasn't seeing cousin Greggy and uncle Lee couldn't come because he had his appendix removed. Jake was finally hoping that he could get to seat at the grown ups table but his guts were telling him that he wasn't going to. Jake saw that Greggy was coming down from upstairs as if he had the world under his finger tips and aunt Cathy got up from her seat and tinged a spoon against the wine glass and announced," My son Gregory got his dragon powers yesterday which makes him qualified to seat at the grown ups table."

All of the family members applauded. Jake decided to be the bigger person so he just got up, took away Haley as she seemed as if she was on the verge of committing murder and knowing her she probably would. Jake and Haley were walking away as they were planning on eating at sailor's cafeteria aboard the carrier with the sailors.

Suddenly Gregory said in a provocative tone," Perhaps I should take over the responsibilities of the American dragon after all I'm clearly more superior than Jake. Perhaps uncle Long should adopt me after all I deserve the luxurious life." Both Haley and Jake snapped their necks towards Gregory at an unhealthy speed.

Jake slapped him so hard that he went flying to the other side of the room and his frontal buck tooth flew away and then Haley went into dragon mode and jumped on him and started pounding his face with her dragon fist. Susan quickly went grabbed Haley and separated her from Gregory. Cathy said," My poor boy!!!! You two apologise to Gregory this instant."

At that moment Susan slammed the table and yelled," And why should they? Every year we come my husband is looked down upon because he is not of magical descent, my son and daughter is treated like some toddler while all of you glorify Greggy. Never has my family got any recognition despite us being better at everything than you all. Also, Cathy your husband hasn't worked a single day in his life he just simply inherited the wealth of his parents while my husband has reached where he is today through his genius and sheer determination alone. So, I don't care if he is not of magical descent or he goes bankrupt."

Everyone was on the verge of full on pub brawl and the Spartans were getting ready to shoot everyone except Susan, Jake, Haley and Fu. The fight was broken by the sound of a whistle and everyone turned towards Fu. Fu cleared his throat and said," This conflict started due to the dispute between Greggy and Jake. So, in order to meditate the conflict two of them must compete in 3 tests chosen by the victor of the previous test while the one who will issue the first test will be decided through coin toss.

Everyone came to the beach and Greggy won the coin toss and he chose the test of fire breath which Jake won, second test was speed flying which was chosen by Jake. While Greggy took a headstart by cheating Jake still defeated him thanks to his advanced biological flight system and he only completed one lap around the island.

Jake was crowned the winner which made all the arguments of Susan's side of the family technically invalid but they still tried to argue. Meanwhile the crew of I.C.N.S Atlas finished their mission which was to retrieve the trident of Neptune which Tiburon and his Sharkmada was going to use to submerge the entire southeastern part of the USA. Safe to say Tiburon and his Sharkmada has been turned to dust while the memories related to the legends of the trident and it's owner has been purged from the memories of the sharkmen also any literatures describing the trident has been censored.

The family was on the verge of fighting at that moment at that moment someone yelled," EVERYONE STOOOPPPP." Everyone turned and saw it was Jonathan and gramps. When Jonathan heard what happened to say that he was angry would be an understatement but Jonathan restrained himself and said," Susan, what do you want?" " Perhaps dad might be able to endure you being humiliated but I won't stand for that. I declare that I'm severing all ties with my side of the family." Said Susan while shedding tears.

I hugged her in order to comfort her and two Ashbird came taking away us and my pickup truck.

I.C.N.S Atlas:

Aboard the observation, information and tactical analysis station an officer was intently listening to the conversation coming to his terminal. He saved the conversation in a memory chip and took it to his commanding officer who reported it to Jonathan after hearing it's contents. Jonathan came to that station and listened to the recording. He took out his Strategic Weapons Control Case.

He selected the target and entered the command code NN500KGB and the Orbital Strike Satellite or simply known as OSS received the command to drop a 500 kg bomb on Catherine's island. The reason Jonathan did this was because it turned out Catherine was planning to sell all information about his family to China and USA.

What's worse Catherine's husband is actually a traitor and he has been selling classified information to Russia and China which included information about my family. I'm going to make a example of him as the bomb will only drop when he's 7 kilometres away from his island and he's coming home tonight. After he's lost everything I will lock him up in Scorpio prison where I will replay that scene in front of him for every moment of his existence.

The three horizontal red buttons are for the planetary triad while the two vertical ones are for activating war economy mode and unrestricted usage of WSSLMD: WEAPONS OF SOLAR SYSTEM LEVEL MASS DESTRUCTION.
