Chapter 46- To the entrance ceremony~1
Starfall Academy enrolls those candidates who have awakened their Divinity.
There are several other academies in the continent, devoted to magic and combat but mostly every divine awakened joins the Starfall Academy to hone their skills to the superlative and learn under the best instructors.
Three years it takes for a student to reach the pinnacle of their potential and serve the continent and humankind.
Mostly every divine awakened serves the nation as the High Order—a unit devoted to the exceptional soldiers who are also the first line of defense of the Empire. And some divine awakened join the League—those hunters who purge the demons by actively raiding the other side.
The future of a divine awakened is secured since once they graduate from the Academy, the central ministry itself offers high-paid jobs and even living as a student in the Starfall Academy gets them various benefits.
A student just needs to devote these three years to learning and sharpening their skills to pave a bright path to the future.

[Kyle's POV:]
We reached the Starfall Academy by carriage last night. And today was the welcoming ceremony.
Alatia was granted a cottage which was separated from the school building. The dorm section has several cottages like the one which was given to Alatia. Unlike what I was used to seeing in my previous life, students here are given quite the luxury.
The main school building of the school was in the center of the island. The dorms were located behind the school building and each year's dorm was located at a separate location.
Apart from the main school building which was common for all three years, there was an indoor gymnasium and a teacher's block where the library was also situated.
Last night I stayed in the attached cabin to the main dorm quarter which was provided in every cottage. Since mostly every student brings a servant, or attendant with them, it is necessary to keep them near their master.
In the morning, I changed into the classic butler uniform, consisting of a white shirt, black waistcoat, black formal trousers, and a black coat.
I was told by Alatia to wait outside in the morning since she had a surprise for me.
I complied with her decision and silently waited for her nearly at seven in the morning.
There were some butlers walking toward the main building—seemingly to grab some necessities for their masters. Who knows.
I have packed everything that Alatia needs in her everyday life that's why she never called me to get her something.
In this academy, the need for servants is just as much as there is for books and other study materials. After all, after training all day and exhausting all resources, when a student returns to their dorm room, the last thing they would like is to cook food or prepare warm water for a bath.
There is an option to acquire a servant after joining the Academy. More so, people apply for that job since serving a divine awakened comes with various perks.
That's why, to ensure that a servant isn't enjoying the benefits without having any experience in the service, all the servants are required to take an exam. Regardless of whenever they join and who they are serving, every servant has to go through this process.
I know what tests there would be, after all amongst the many servants there is a heroine hidden as well.
The one I used to like in my last life, the most.
"Kyle?"
Hearing Alatia's voice, I was plucked out of my daze as I hurriedly turned to look at her.
However, my voice never left my throat as my gaze fell on her.
Although I was aware of the dress code that the Academy follows, looking at Alatia in it stole my breath away.
A white plain shirt with black buttons was partly hidden under the white blazer she wore over her shoulders. The golden lining along the border made her attire look like it was made only for her. The black plait skirt that reached just an inch above her knees went perfectly with her upper wear. Her hair is tied in a ponytail unlike usual when she ties them in a bun.
Her cheeks were flushed with a healthy crimson shade and a beautiful smile, that could steal anyone's heart, lifted the edges of her lush lips.
In the uniform, she gave a strange youthful vibe and in all honesty, this version of Alatia was quite dangerous for my heart.
I slowly moved toward her while trying to look as casual as I could and halted only when my whisper could reach her.
"....quite lucky you are that we aren't inside a room but in the open."
Alatia raised her brows at that before asking in the same tone, "And what if we had been inside a room?"
I couldn't help but let my lips form into a smirk, "You will know once we return after the ceremony."
Alatia 'hmm-ed' a bit with her arms crossed on her chest before her eyes widened slightly.
Focusing back at me, she thinned her lips in a smirk before whispering in a tone that sent a chill down my spine, "If you rank in the top three today, then tonight I will give you a reward~"
....alright, so beast mode today. Got it.
With my fist balled up, I ushered Alatia, "Let's go, my lady. I have an exam to ace."
Alatia giggled by my side before we departed for the entrance ceremony.

[Third Person's POV:]
There were numerous students gathering around the main building of the Academy where the orientation would be held.
People from different regions and backgrounds have arrived at this place to make a name for themselves.
However, something that made them common, was the fact that they turned at least once, to look at the blond beauty.
Alatia was like a full-bloomed beautiful rose in the garden of many dull flowers. Without doing anything peculiar she gathered attention just through her presence.
Her elegant gait extruded the mannerisms of a noble lady. Although many were tempted to introduce themselves to the beauty, her sharp and indifferent eyes kept everyone three feet away.
Kyle was walking just a few steps on her left flank while holding her bag.
He was actively using Beta to keep an eye on their surroundings for any unwanted activity directed at Alatia.
Just as they reached the plaza in front of the main building, Alatia's feet gradually came to a halt just like many others.
Several students and their servants have made a circle around two people who were causing a commotion.
Partially Alatia could see that a maid was currently sprawled on the ground and was weeping in pain. And the other one was a student with pink hair and an angered expression on his face.
Alatia looked at the girl with her 'eyes' and only found pain and fear in her hue.
Although there were many people around no one intending to stop them, seemingly because the pink head was a noble of high ranking.
Although Alatia wasn't a righteous person, she couldn't just ignore a person with such a sorrowful hue.
"Alatia..." However, before she could have moved, Kyle held her hand.
Alatia turned to look at him with a frown on her face, "But Kyle...."
Kyle shook his head before he gestured with his eyes toward the crowd again.
Alatia, with a perplexed look, turned back to look at the crowd—and soon she found who he was gesturing at.
Just like Alatia, Kyle also had his eyes on that certain raven-haired youth who was making his way to save the day.
The prota
gonist of the story has appeared.
