I arrived at the hotel in a matter of minutes while enjoying the pleasant breeze that could rarely be enjoyed there, in Cairnholm. It was a pleasant night with clouds in the sky, but part of the sky was clear, something unbecoming of this place.
As I mentioned, I arrived at the hotel while I was enjoying the night and thinking briefly about what had happened today.

I can't really help my father no matter how much I wanted to. I've already tried to help him and it hasn't been of any use, so I doubt it'll be of any use even if I try again. What my father needs is a psychologist to discover the reason for his defeatist personality. Although it doesn't take a genius to see that the origin of everything (not the reason), is my grandfather and his constant abandonments. Surely the lack of a father figure could have influenced his personality in a way that we do not know. But as I have already mentioned, I am not a psychologist and I cannot help him as he truly deserve. I could just stand there, watching how he drunk large amounts of beer were seen and try to stop him from drinking. That was the only thing I could do for him for the moment.
I could also notice that lately my father is not happy with what I am doing or with the supposed "friends" I have in this place. I've even thought that he's found out that I've been lying to him all this time. But then, I discarded that idea because it was impossible for him to have discovered it. Otherwise, he would have told me without thinking twice.
Anyway, after dinner, we each went to our respective rooms without saying a single word to each other.
Since today was earlier than usual, I had decided that it was time to practice controlling my peculiarity, but not before receiving my two well-deserved awards.
[That's right. I doubted you were going to ask me for them]
"I didn't remember because of what happened during these two days. But... shouldn't you have told me?" – I asked curiously.

Suddenly, I began to feel that sensation of freshness again. But this time it was dozens of times stronger than before. I began to feel as if I were naked in the North Pole. I looked at my smartphone and saw that there was still an a lot of time left to go down to breakfast, so I decided to dedicate my time to training. I think that from this day on, I will get up early to train my body and practice my new peculiarities.
An hour passed quickly and the only thing I could do was practice a little with my new peculiarities. I tried the peculiarity that allowed me to control the wind and indeed the system did not deceive me, I could manipulate the wind with great ease. However, it could only form spheres and wind blades (but not very sharps). I couldn't change its temperature or size much. Maybe it's a lack of practice or maybe this is the most I can do with this peculiarity for now, I'll keep training to check it.
I couldn't test the fire resistance (obviously) and I couldn't use my peculiarity "Fury" either because to do so, I needed to be angry and right now I was extremely happy and felt that nothing could make me angry, so I left that peculiarity for another time when I could gather some anger.
My Control over Water had improved exponentially and I could now form almost any figure I wanted. In addition, the power had increased considerably and now it could be used in combat. The temperature could vary between just under 100º and between just over 0º. In other words, I could throw boiling water or ice water at my opponent as I wish. Something quite useful in combat.
In conclusion, I was quite happy with the result. The rewards have been great, and I feel like after training them, my combat power would increase by leaps and bounds. I just hope I never have to use my power. I'd rather live a simple life, without having to worry about fighting or anything like that. However, even if I have no recollection about most of the events in the books and the movie, I know perfectly well that this is impossible. I am sure that, soon, threats will begin to emerge that I will have or rather we will have to face. That's a fact even if I don't remember anything about the story.
Anyway, starting tomorrow, I'll get up early to train. I have to be prepared for when that time comes. In addition, the rest of the peculiars have dozens of years of experience in the use of their peculiarities and I have none. I must train hard to accumulate experience.
With my expectations quite high and prepared for everything that the day would bring, I went down the stairs of the filthy hotel ready to give it my all today.
